Agitating teachers protest at Bikash Bhavan, raise slogan against Sabyasachi Dutta

Unemployed teachers protesting for inclusion in the SSC 2016 panel continued their agitation outside Bikash Bhavan on the ninth day, intensifying after Trinamool leader Sabhyasachi Dutta arrived at the site. Upon his arrival, protesters surrounded him and raised slogans in protest. The demonstrators demanded an urgent meeting with education department officials, warning that if their demands were not addressed within an hour, they would enter Bikash Bhavan by force.

Earlier, the protest escalated when demonstrators attempted to enter through the rear gate but were blocked by police, resulting in clashes and the breaking of barricades. Subsequently, the protesters broke the main gate of Bikash Bhavan and gained entry. Following these developments, police increased security around the building. The protest continues to focus on the unresolved demands of unemployed teachers awaiting government action, with no official statements from either side reported so far.
